Bochum-Leipzig, the probable formations

Hecking’s Bochum, fresh off its second home win of the season, has regained salvation hopes and is set to face a crucial challenge against RB Leipzig at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The home team overcame an excellent St. Pauli thanks to a Hofmann goal with twenty minutes left, keeping their goal unbroken for the second consecutive time at home and moving just three points closer to the salvation zone. The decision to entrust the bench to Hecking, the former Wolfsburg coach, seems to be paying off: the coach è managed to create a favorable environment to relaunch himself after some disappointing experiences.

On the opposite front, Leipzig arrived with some difficulties, after a comeback defeat against Stuttgart. A worrisome result, not only because of the reversal suffered in the second half, but also because of the expulsions of Sesko and Openda in the final minutes, which will deprive the team of its main center-forwards. To win the three points against Bochum, compactness and tactical intelligence will be needed, with Xavi Simons called upon to take most of the responsibility.

Probable lineups

RB Leipzig (4-4-2): Gulacsi; Geertruida, Siewald, Orbán, Raum; Xavi Simons, Vermeeren, Haidara, Nusa; Andre Silva, Baumgartner. All. Rose
