Juventus-Milan 2-0

Fifteen days after Milan’s success in Riyadh in the Italian Super Cup semifinal, Juventus took revenge in the league, getting rid of the Rossoneri 2-0 and putting an end to the string of three consecutive draws that had slowed it down in the league in no small way. Thiago Motta’s team revisits the Champions zone, at least for one night.

Compared to the soporific spectacle of the first leg (ended 0-0 on Nov. 23) and the first half buttoned down on Saudi soil, the match valid for the twenty-first day of the Serie A championship è crackling from the very first minutes and gives a first half full of goal-scoring actions: Juventus came close to taking the lead on 16' with Yildiz (good Maignan in the anticipation), on 27' with Nico Gonzalez (who lost the moment on the most beautiful) and on 36', with Maignan again decisive on Yildiz, who will leave his place to Weah at the beginning of the second half.

Milan, on the other hand, came dangerously close to the opponent&#39s goal with Leao on 26' (great save by Di Gregorio) and in the end of the fraction, on the Leao-Theo Hernandez axis (Gatti providentially clears). The resumption forò è was entirely of the Juventus brand: the Bianconeri upped the pressure and went through at 59', when Nico Gonzalez served Mbangula who kicked toward the goal and found the friendly deflection of Emerson Royal to displace Maignan.

With the Rossoneri on the ropes, just one more vertical action was enough for Juventus to encore, at 64': Khephren Thuram’s great ball for Timothy Weah, George’s son dà a big disappointment to the club for which his father played in the second half of the 1990s by scoring after getting rid of Tomori’s marking.

Conceiçao relies between 63' and 80' on Jimenez, Camarda, Jovic and Terracciano in place of Bennacer, Emerson Royal, Abraham and Reijnders. For Juve there are instead, between 75' and 90', Douglas Luiz, Vlahovic, Fagioli and Adzic in place of Koopmeiners, Nico Gonzalez, Thuram and Mbangula. There are no other gasps on the field, però except for a reckless exit by Maignan at 93' after which Vlahovic kicks badly out: Juventus rejoices at the triple whistle and pushes its Rossoneri rivals out of the Europe zone.
