Another misstep for Palladino’s team, sixth at 33 points, while the granata are 11th at 23.

Fiorentina got off to a better start in the first half but goal chances were slow in coming, with only Gudmundsson trying unsuccessfully. On the half-hour the episode that turned the match: Dembele received his second caution for a foul on Folorunsho and was sent off, leaving Torino in 10 men. Only a few minutes pass and on 39' the lily-colored team finds the lead thanks to the usual Moise Kean, who is good at heading Milinkovic’s rebound on Colpani’s shot into the net. The goalkeeper of the granata è then fundamental at 44' to avoid the double of the hosts with a great save on the same Kean.

In the second half, Fiorentina looked for the goal of the knockout, without success, and at 70' Torino equalized in 10 men: serious mistake by Adli who had the ball blown away by Gineitis, who in front of De Gea did not miss and scored the 1-1, freezing the crowd in Florence.

Palladino tries to shake his team by inserting Beltran and Sottil for the final assault on the guests’ goal, Adli and Ranieri try but are inaccurate. Nothing to do, another false step for Fiorentina, which has not won in the league since early December: at the triple whistle protest in the stands.
