La Liga 2024-2025: Real Madrid-Las Palmas, the likely lineups.

Real Madrid-Las Palmas, the probable formations
After the defeat against Barcelona in the Super Cup and the laborious extra-time victory in the Copa del Rey against Celta Vigo, Real Madrid dives back into La Liga. Currently second in the standings with 43 points, the Blancos, aim to overtake Atletico Madrid, defeated away from home against Leganes, and move to the top of the league. The Bernabeu will host a Las Palmas side seeking redemption after their recent 2-1 home defeat against Getafe.
Carlo Ancelotti still faces problems in the defensive department: Carvajal and Militao are out for the rest of the season, while Alaba è only recently returned. The Italian coach will also have to do without Camavinga, who was injured in the last cup game, and the disqualified Modric and Vinicius. Courtois will return between the posts; the defense will see Asencio and Rudiger in the middle, Lucas Vazquez on the right and Mendy, favored over Fran Garcia on the left. Valverde and Tchouameni will command the midfield. Guler and Rodrygo will occupy the flanks, while Bellingham will act as trequartista behind Mbappé.
Martinez will field almost the same formation seen against Getafe. Cillessen will beà the goalkeeper, with a four-man defense composed of Alex Suarez and McKenna in the center, Herzog on the right and Marmol on the left. In the midfield, Loiodice will take Essugo’s place flanking Kirian Rodriguez. Javier Muñoz will be the trequartista, supported by outfielders Sandro Ramirez and Moleiro. Fabio Silva will beà the center forward.
