Como’s salvation spurt: Udinese overwhelmed at Sinigaglia

The 21st day of Serie A closed with Como's clear success over Udinese. The Larians, in fact, imposed themselves with a clear 4-1 over the Friulians, thanks to two goals per half thus making a considerable leap forward in the standings.
The hosts immediately found the goal of the lead on 5': Strefezza sent deep into the box; Diao, who, with a right-footed shot, scored under the crossbar, finding his second consecutive goal. Late in the first half, the former Lecce man also finds personal glory by signing the double for Fabregas’ team, thanks to a precise volley from the edge of the area that pierces Sava.
The resumption began in the best way for Udinese, as on 50'came the goal that reopened the match: Payero anticipated Strefezza and finished toward the goal beating Butez. Complicating the match for the Larians was Goldaniga, who received two yellow cards in the space of a few minutes, thus leaving his team in ten.
The numerical inferiority, however, was short-lived, as at 64' Solet was also sent off for double admonition for an uncoordinated entry on Cutrone. At 78' came the third goal for the hosts: Fadera put a taut ball in the middle, finding the deflection of Bijol who, in an attempt to anticipate the Larian striker, ended up depositing the ball in his own goal.
In the midst of the recovery, the deficit becomes even heavier for Udinese, which suffers the fourth goal from Nico Paz, who finalizes with a header an excellent restart action.
Thanks to this success, Como makes an important leap in the standings, reaching 13th place with 22 points. Conversely, the Friulians remain stuck in 10th place with 26 points.
