Another incidents of racism

La Liga once again finds itself embroiled in a case of racist slurs. Frequently denounced by Real Madrid’s Brazilian Vinicius, this time they targeted some players from Real Sociedad, which played Valencia on Sunday. In a statement, the Basque club strongly condemned what happened.

"We are clear that these elements do not represent the greatness of the club, just as there is no room in soccer and sport for people who disrespect, insult and incite hatred – they let it be known from San Sebastian -. Our club will continue to denounce these kinds of attitudes, as it did immediately with La Liga after the match, and hopes that situations like yesterday’s will not be repeated. Let’s all work for a better" society.

What happened adds to an already very long list of similar incidents in the Spanish league. Last Saturday, Alejandro Baldé had also complained of racist insults when addressing the'referee of the Getafe-Barça game (1-1).
