Alexander Zverev faces this Australian Open final more confident than ever. The German tennis player is feeling in great shape and is aiming to win his first career Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne.  Ahead of him is the Novak Djokokovic obstacle, and in the final could be world number one Jannik Sinner, but the Serb feels he is not at all beaten: "I think I have the level to defeat anyone".

"Last year I spent much more time on the court to reach the semifinals than I have invested in this edition. È it is true that in 2020 I also advanced quickly, but those were my first semifinals, everything was very different. Now I have a clear goal, which è to win a Slam and I am giving everything".

"Repeatedly reaching the semifinals gives you more confidence to deal with these situations, and I feel I have been able to do that for a while, and it will help me. Honestly, I think I have two more matches to play here", he said reiterating his great confidence.
