Danilo Gallinari starts again in Puerto Rico
No NBA and no return to Italy for Danilo Gallinari. The former Milwaukee Bucks basketball player, through a message issued on his Instagram account, announced that he will officially return to Puerto Rico, wearing the jersey of the Vanqueros de Bayamon.
"It's with great pleasure that I prepare for a new important challenge with the Vanqueros jersey. I am grateful to be able to do what I love most, playing basketball and being close to my family. I thank the club and especially Carlos Arroyo, for their fiudica and for giving me the opportunity to keep the door open in case I get an NBA call" began the former Atlanta Hawks player.
"I return to the court with the charge of new beginnings, but also with the hope of a great finish in the Italian national team, ready to wear the national team jersey for one last great European adventure" added the'former Los Angeles Clippers.
Gallinari boasts 777 games in the NBA (regular season) with numbers of 14.9 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists with 38.1 percent from three-point range. Last season he played 49 games between Washington, Detroit and Milwaukee, averaging 5.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in 12.9 minutes per contest.
