The year 2025 è started uphill for Anna Kalinskaya. The Russian tennis player did not è take the court for even a minute at the Australian Open, due to a virus that prevented her from being able to play. Yet another setback in a truly suffering start to the season.

To forget what happened in Melbourne and get right back into the game, Anna Kalinskaya è already flew to Singapore (story on her official Instagram profile). The Russian tennis player è number 1 seed at the Singapore Open, a 250 WTA tournament scheduled in the phantasmagorical Kallang Tennis Hub from January 27 to February 2 (first of three editions already confirmed by the WTA).

Anna Kalinskaya also posted, also on her Instagram profile, a story with a photo of her with Singapore Member of Parliament Edwin Tong welcoming her to the city. The Russian è s goal is always the same, which is to try to win her first singles tournament on the WTA circuit.

Moreover, there's a desire to turn things around and begin to make sense of this 2025 that, so far, has seen her experience only decidedly negative moments. There'è also to improve the WTA ranking which, of late, has seen her lose a few too many positions, complicit in the negative results she has had (currently è 18° in the world).
