For the Valle d’Aosta woman there are also two third places, for an overall World Cup ranking that sees her more and more in the lead, although there are still many appointments left until the end of the season.

Rounding out the podium is Swiss athlete Corinne Suter, who came in with a time 19 hundredths slower than Federica Brignone. In the Top 10 there'è then another Italian athlete: this is Laura Pirovano, who came in 10th place 54 hundredths behind today&#39s winner.

With today’s success, Federica Brignone not only confirms her position at the top of the overall World Cup standings, but also jumps ahead of everyone in the downhill standings, overtaking Sofia Goggia herself. Brignone in fact has 289 points in the specialty ranking, while Goggia rises to 260.
