The German tennis player lost decisively in three sets and after the match he è first became enraged, then è burst into tears in frustration. "Congratulations Jannik, you deserved it. You are number 1 in the world and not by a small margin. I was hoping to be more competitive, but you are too strong. The answer è is simple. Congratulations, you and your team deserve it. You do the right things and nobody deserves it more than you", the German world number two said after the final.
"I thank my team. We are trying hard, it is me who is not strong enough. Without you I would certainly not be here".
The German tennis player è still running out of Slams but not giving up: "I don't know if he'll ever make it to the trophy, but he'll come back and keep trying".
