Confirming the farewell was Danilo himself through a touching message posted on his Instagram profile: "Dear bianconeri, I do not even know where to start. I knew this day would come sooner or later, but you è never ready for goodbyes. Five and a half years have passed but for me è it è as if it had been a lifetime. It è never easy to part with a love and a place that gave me so much, with a jersey that made me feel great emotions, with a club and a history that made me rediscover values that have accompanied me throughout my career and that I learned from my parents.
When I arrived, I learned from the great men in the locker room and within Juventus, then I too became a teacher and defender of these values, tooth and nail, as if it were a part of me, like the teachings I pass on to my children, who by the way have made Turin their home and have become great fans of these colors. Perhaps è to respect and fight so much for these values that I can no longer be part of this project. What makes me proud è to have never changed my way of being and my way of defending the most important club in my history.
I feel that every person in the Juventus world is part of my family, every employee, every comrade, every person who wears this jersey with pride, without thinking only about numbers, with honesty; and, above all, facing, every Juventus challenge as a personal challenge.
