International snowboarding returns to Obereggen
Obereggen, one of the hearts of national snowboarding with its snowpark in the Latemar Dolomites area (20 minutes from Bolzano), will host on Saturday, February 22, a high-level competition, in jargon a Park Battle, dedicated to snowboarders who make creativity, style and competition their way of life. Consolidated format with a “cash 4 tricks”, barbecue and live music. This event will also be organized by the Bolzano Skateboardproject association, chaired by Riccardo Larcher and coordinated by vice-president Andrea Coppola.
On Saturday, March 8, it will be the turn of a Freestyle contest for Snowboarders and Freeskiers, while on Saturday, March 15, there will be the "SNOWPARK JAM NORTHWAVE" freestyle contest organized by the ASV Skateboardproject association of Bolzano. At the same time, Feb. 22 will be the safety day on the slopes in South Tyrol. The "SAFE, I have fun" campaign will make a stop in Obereggen.
"We are honored to host, as we did last season, this key stage of the safety campaign on our slopes" says Benjamin Kirchmaier, CEO of the Obereggen Latemar Ag “lifts company; “we will share the “SAFE, I have fun” campaign with guests in our Latemar-Dolomites ski area. We will be present on the slopes to inform them about the basic aspects of safety, such as compliance with Fis rules, first aid in case of ski accidents and avalanche safety".
