Nicola Pietrangeli gets out of line on Jannik Sinner
He thinks so about Jannik Sinner Nicola Pietrangeli, the former tennis player who today è was a guest on Rai Radio1’s Un Giorno da Pecora: "If Sinner has surpassed me? Yes, and it doesn't end there, he can make the Grand Slam, he risks maybe in Paris but if he plays the way he is playing now there's none for anybody. Now è definitely the strongest Italian sportsman of any era and I certainly don't cheer, on the contrary".
Pietrangeli is then asked about his criticism of the South Tyrolean tennis player for his alleged 'boring game'. Does he confirm? "Absolutely not, I only said that è today’s game to be boring – Pietrangeli’s answer -, specifying that however this è only my point of view".
But in short, è was then asked hosts Giorgio Lauro and Geppi Cucciari, who is stronger between her and Jannik? “È Impossible to make comparisons, let’s say that each è the strongest…in his era". Who è whoè canè beat Sinner today? "Given the way he is playing,” Pietrangeli joked on Radio1, “maybe only a sniper…".
