Simonetta Avalle è died
A sad day for Italian women’s volleyball, which mourns the passing of Simonetta Avalle.
The first, historic, coach of Serie A, thanks to her passion and strength she managed to bring a team from the outskirts of Rome, Tor Sapienza, to the top league, later taking the satisfaction of winning a CEV Cup in the 1993 edition with Colli Aniene, before sitting on different benches between Naples, Florence, Reggio Calabria and Vicenza.
