Genoa has a new goalkeeper
Genoa has a new goalkeeper – Benjamin Siegrist. After the farewell of Pierluigi Gollini, who moved to Roma, the Rossoblù club has chosen to bet on the Swiss extreme defender, class '92, who arrives on loan with right of redemption from Rapid Bucharest, a club owned by Dan Sucu.
It was announced by the Ligurian club itself through a note published on its official website:"Benjamin Siegrist è a new goalkeeper of Genoa. Born in Therwil, Switzerland, on 31/01/1992, he arrives on a temporary basis from Rapid Bucharest".
Siegrist has won nine national titles with his home clubs and participated in one edition of the European U21 Championship with the Swiss national team. In his professional career, he has also worn the jerseys of Aston Villa, Burton Albion, Cambridge, Solihull Moors, Wycombe, Vaduz, Dundee and Celtic.
