Juventus-Benfica, the probable formations

On Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. at Allianz Stadium, Juventus takes on Benfica in the final day of the single group stage of the Champions League. The Bianconeri, coming off a difficult period, are determined to win to avoid any unwelcome surprises and secure their passage to the playoffs. The Portuguese, on the other hand, are in a delicate situation, with an obligation not to lose in Turin in order not to jeopardize qualification.

Thiago Motta in addition to the usual unavailable Milik, Bremer and Cabal, will not have Cambiaso available due to an ankle problem. So in defense Savona returns as right fullback and McKennie on the left, in midfield space for Douglas Luiz. On the three-quarter should rest Nico Gonzalez and Koopmeiners, there will be instead, Mbangula and Conceiçao with Yildiz as central trequartista. In attack, Dusan Vlahovic returns as a starter.

Very important match for Benfica, which will bet on Angel Di Maria's experience in the three-quarter along with Kokcu and Akturkoglu. In attack, the only forward will be Pavlidis, fresh off a hat trick in the last Champions League match against Barcelona. The two central defenders will be Otamendi and Antonio Silva, Juve’s own market target in the January market.
