Lewis Hamilton, first misadventure in Ferrari: hit the wall in Barcelona

Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari has just begun his break-in with the SF-23, while waiting to know the single-seater he will drive in the 2025 Formula 1 season. This mishap forced Maranello mechanics to intervene on the car, slowing Charles Leclerc’s schedule and his plans to get behind the wheel of the Ferrari in the afternoon. Testing, as stipulated in the official Formula 1 regulations, allows a maximum of 1,000 kilometers on cars that are at least two years of age.

According to press reports present in Barcelona, Hamilton did not make a serious mistake or otherwise worthy of Ferrari’s reproaches. The seven-time world champion is still getting used to the new car and was looking for its limits. For this reason, the mishap è has been assessed as a simple mishap in these weeks of hard work.
