January’s big gift may still be coming.
Calciomercato Napoli: Alejandro Garnacho è has not yet left the radar of the Parthenopean leadership. On the contrary, the chances of snatching Manchester United's sì for the Argentine winger so much liked by the ever-demanding Antonio Conte have grown after the Red Devils'purchase of Patrick Dorgu. The negotiation, however, remains complex at the moment.
Napoli però believes in it, as ds Giovanni Manna has resumed contacts with the intermediaries of the Garnacho operation. According to the 'Corriere dello Sport' there would be no particular developments yet, but new margins could open up in these last hours in which the negotiation with Manchester United è still viable.
The English club will in fact pour 37.5 million euros into Lecce’s coffers to secure Dorgu, which is why it could lower its demands to deal Garnacho. In fact, Napoli submitted a bid of no more than 50 million euros in total, while Manchester United demanded 60-65 million. The prospect of seeing the negotiation fade away altogether, however, could soften the demands of Manna’s interlocutors.
Time però is also running out for Napoli, as the possibility of securing Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund appears to have definitely faded (at least for January). The risk of not giving Conte né Garnacho né a possible alternative è therefore the scenario that the Azzurri leadership wants to try to avoid until the last possible second.
