Itas Trentino, Fabio Soli seeks more answers

Fabio Soli spurs his team on the eve of the derby
After the disappointment at the Final Four of the Italian Cup, partially mitigated by the return to success in the CEV Cup against Brasov, Itas Trentino and in particular its coach Fabio Soli are also looking for further answers in the league, where the Gialloblù are expected to play the Adige derby against Rana Verona, scheduled in the city of Verona on Sunday at 4 p.m.
"Verona è returned from a Final Four in the Italian Cup that confirmed its exponential growth in the last period,” Soli explained, “and will take advantage of the enthusiasm stemming from having played the first final in its history in the match ahead of us as well. For our part è it was important to restart momentum after the semifinal in Bologna, getting an only seemingly easy victory on Thursday evening against Brasov in CEV Cup".
"A result,” added the Itas Trentino coach, “but above all a performance that shows how the team is compact and determined to pursue the goals we still have in front of us this season. We are expecting a match with high-level content, in which much will depend on the balance in the fundamentals of hitting and receiving and on our ability to limit their attack which, numbers in hand, è among the best in our league".
The one against Civitanova in the Italian Cup semifinals è so far the only defeat obtained by Trentino in calendar year 2025. The Marches, who won in a tie-break, then went on to win in five sets against Verona in the final as well, thus earning their eighth win in the domestic cup. Trentino's last Italian Cup, however, dates back to the 2012-2013 season.
