The Doncic-Davis trade is still causing discussion. For many insiders, it is the "mostùsci-fi" trade ever. The Slovenian, before starting his new adventure at the LA Lakers, alongside King James, wanted to say goodbye to Dallas, the city that welcomed him, very young, back in 2018 (chosen at call number 3 by the Mavs at the 2018 NBA Draft).

"Seven years ago I arrived here as a teenager pursuing his dream of playing basketball at the highest possible level, I thought I would spend my career here and I strongly wanted to give you a title", his clear words in the post published by the Slovenian on his official social channels.

Doncic also added that he is sure to leave a city he considers and will always consider home. Now everyone is waiting for Doncic alongside James. An outstanding combo that, in fact, has increased the LA Lakers’ title chances.

So much anticipation to see if and how the chemistry between Doncic himself and James will work. Two absolute all-stars, two stars who love to have the ball in their hands (especially the Slovenian). Certainly, the media interest around the NBA and, in particular, the LA Lakers, è increased exponentially after a trade that è already; in the history of the highest American basketball league.
