Saalbach 2025, it starts with the team parallel

The first rainbow race in Saalbach 2025 will be the Team Parallel, which will be staged at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4. Italy will field Alex Vinatzer, Filippo Della Vite, Lara Della Mea and Giorgia Collomb.
The’only podium precedent for Italy in the Team Parallel at the World Championships goes back to the 2019 edition in Are, when the team composed of Alex Vinatzer, Simon Maurberger, Lara Della Mea and Irene Curtoni was able to put the bronze medal around its neck, behind Switzerland and Austria.
The defending champions, winners of the gold in Courchevel in 2023, were the USA, who fielded Tommy Ford, River Radamus, Paula Moltzan and Nina O’Brien. The Americans defeated Norway and Canada.
