Brescia awaits Trieste, Peppe Poeta explains major pitfalls

Sunday Brescia challenges Trieste
The nineteenth day of the basketball Serie A will propose, among other competitions, the very interesting challenge between Germani Brescia and Pallacanestro Trieste: both in the playoff zone, the two teams are looking for important points to continue their path in the top areas. For the Biancazzurri it will also be an important opportunity to raise their heads again after the loss against Napoli last Sunday.
"We are expected to play a very complex game against a team of high level and that is going through a very good moment of form – said Peppe Poeta, coach of Germani -. Trieste è the second lineup in the league for three-point shots attempted and the first for offensive rebounds won".
The White and Blue coach then went on to describe the potential pitfalls of the Feb. 9 challenge: "Their game identityè is clear and defined, they express their offensive flow in the first seconds of possession, being able to count on top of an absolutely talented guard package. Faced with the characteristics and qualitiesà of our opponents, we will have to offer a very good defensive performance".
" We also have to try to limit their game creators,” Poeta added, “and be solid on defensive rebounding, not allowing Trieste the chance to run the court in transition and to write easy baskets on the scoreboard, elements typical of their way of interpreting basketball. It will beà a tough challenge and we will need the usual warmth and support of our public".
