Lazio-Monza, the probable formations

Heavy points in the Champions League zone and in the salvation zone up for grabs at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, where Lazio-Monza, a match valid for the 24th day of Serie A, is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. The hosts are currently sixth, but just one point behind fourth-placed Juventus, and want to revive their European ambitions. Guests are last: they need points to still hope to keep their category.

In Lazio, both Tavares and Lazzari are back at Marco Baroni’s disposal, with the former expected to find space on the left in the defensive quartet. In the midfield Rovella with Guendouzi, always Isaksen to complete with Dia and the'untouchable Zaccagni the trio of half-points behind Castellanos only point.

For Salvatore Bocchetti, however, many new faces in Monza. It starts with the goal, entrusted to Pizzignacco with Turati out due to injury. There are però also Palacios and Brorsson on the line of three defenders (with Izzo), Urbanski in the middle of the median (alongside the returning Bianco) and Ganvuola the only point: they all arrived in Brianza in January. Confirmed instead are the two trequartists Mota and Ciurria.
