Frederic Vasseur ready to take risks right away
During an interview given to the microphones of "F1TV", Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur, among other topics discussed, spoke clearly about the objectives of the Maranello team already; starting with the Sakhir test in Bahrain, scheduled from February 26 to 28.
"All teams will have to take risks right away, because é if you don’t, you’re dead. Itè never easy to develop a new single-seater, but with this yearè it will be even more complicated, because 2025 will not be; a season like any other" began the team principal of Ferrari.
"We will have little time to focus on this year's car, becauseé we will have to focus very soon on development for 2026, where the regulations will change. For this reason, it will be essential to be very fast and have a good single-seater already in the Bahrain tests. The schedule will be very tight, so it will be difficult to catch up if we don't keep up with the pace at the start of the season" added Frederic Vasseur.
The official unveiling of the new SF-25 will take place on February 18, 2025. Already on the following day, in addition, drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are expected to take to the track at Fiorano to begin development of the new car with the goal of arriving at the best possible time at the start of the World Championship, scheduled for March 14 in Melbourne.
