Feyenoord-Milan, first on the bench for Pascal Bosschaart

At Feyenoord è calm after the storm, though the clouds are still heavy, at least metaphorically, over the sky in Rotterdam. After Brian Priske's exoneration, the red and white club opted for an in-house solution, handing the bench to Pascal Bosschaart, until Monday evening coach of the Under-21 team. Just the latter è gone from the relative tranquility of the Dutch Under championships to the Champions League, in front of an opponent certainly not easy with Milan.

"I had prepared for the training that I was supposed to do today with the Under 21,” Bosschaart told a press conference, “but last night the club contacted me and everything happened quickly. I got to know the group, the guys are enthusiastic. I got very excited and we have already trained well".

The new Feyenoord coach sends Milan a clear message ahead of the match at 'De Kuip': "The team had already started preparing for the match with Milan, our intention è not to change direction ahead of such an important challenge. We will implement the plan already studied. It's true, each coach has to bring his own ideas, but we must not make confusion".

No revolutions, then, even from the point of view of the men to be employed: "Injuries are many but I don&#39t think we will need the Under-21s, explained Bosschaart. Hwang and Facundo Gonzalez are in doubt, Niewkoop is not going to make it. I am charged up, I had never faced an opponent like Milan: if we get a good result it will be even more special".
