After Ganvoula, Monza signs another strike in attack: Keita Balde. The Senegalese striker returns to Serie A three years after his last appearance with the Cagliari shirt, with which he scored 3 goals in 26 games.

It was announced by the Brianza club itself via an official statement: "Keita Balde è a new Monza player. The’striker has signed a contract with the biancorosso club until June 30, 2025".

Keita Balde also wore the shirts of Lazio, Inter and Sampdoria in Serie A, totaling 185 appearances and with a haul of 41 goals. Among African players, only George Weah (46) and Victor Osimhen (65) have scored more; goals in the Italian top flight.

At the European level, Keita boasts 12 appearances in the Champions League and 14 in the Europa League. He also collected 40 appearances and 6 goals with the Senegal national team, with which he won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and participated in the 2018 World Cup.
