Lando Norris Approves Lewis Hamilton’s Choice

During a speech on the TV show "This Morning", McLaren driver Lando Norris, among other topics, è returned to the decision by compatriot Lewis Hamilton to leave Mercedes to espouse the cause of Ferrari.

"Lewis wants to prove himself and will continue to do so and to fight until he stops racing im Formula 1. It's a good story for him to go to Ferrari. After all he has achieved in Mercedes, I think it is a good step forward for him. Many people have said that maybe it wasn&#39t the right thing to do, but I probably would have done the same thing if I had been in his position. It's an incredible story and I know he&#39ll go there with a new mindset and to prove to everyone that he&#39s still capable of winning as he did for many years" began the British driver.

"I have a very good relationship with Lewis, but on the track è only an opponent that I want and have to beat. The same reasoning applies to all the other drivers. There are always guys you give extra meters to and others you know you can battle well with and Hamilton è one of them. I hope I can battle more with him this year. It's always an honor to challenge someone like him and I'm always excited to do it. I want to prove myself" added Lando Norris.

Before the official start of the season scheduled in Melbourne over the weekend of March 14-16, F1 drivers will take to the track between February 26 and 28 for three days of testing at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain.
