Spanish coach è net on the difference between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner

During an interview given to "Radio Marca", Carlos Alcaraz’s coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, among other topics discussed, è returned to the rivalry between his client and Jannik Sinner, who made a great start to the season by triumphing at the Australian Open. More specifically, the Iberian coach è dwelt on the aspects that the class of 2003 has to improve in order to close the gap from the South Tyrolean rival.

"At 21 years old there's always room for improvement. Carlo è a very talented player, but obviously he still has many things to improve, consistency in the game and mental solidity above all. The positive thing è that we have clear motivations and well-delineated goals to pursue" began the Murcian coach.

"Jannik è a very complete player, è he has been very aware of what he needed to improve and in recent years è he has been able to correct those imperfections in his game. He has around him a very experienced team that helps him a lot. He's matured in the last year and has even more confidence in his means. He will be a very tough opponent, and Carlos will have to be good at not making mistakes and keep improving constantly if he wants to have a chance to stand up to him. This also applies to the various Zverev, Tsitsipas, Rublev and Djokovic" added the former Spanish tennis player.

The elimination at the Australian Open è was a small disappointment for everyone. Many players would have signed to get to the quarters of a Slam, but with Alcaraz’s potential we always think we can still go further. The win in Rotterdam è was an injection of motivation and confidence for what is to come. I am happy for the moment" commented Juan Carlos Ferrero.
