Jack Draper has no doubts about Jannik Sinner’s suspension

Reactions from the major players in the racquet world continue to pour in after the official announcement of the agreement between Wada and Jannik Sinner that led to the South Tyrolean player&#39s three-month disqualification. Particularly critical of the suspension è Britain&#39s Jack Draper, who took to the microphones of 'Sky Sports Uk' to comment on what happened to his colleague.

"I know Jannik, è a good friend of mine, and I know for sure that in this whole situation he did not intentionally do anything himself,” said the 23-year-old, who is busy in Doha these days. "Of course, sport è so è you have to be responsible for everything that affects us. Now però è disqualified, I don’t think it’s good for tennis".

"It’s not good for the sport to have its No. 1, a player who is doing incredible things, stopped due to disqualification,” reiterated Draper, who has met on the ATP circuit twice with Sinner’s record of one win and one loss. “We all know he’ll be back soon, I wish him the best".

Jannik Sinner will return to play in May, when the clay season will get into full swing with the Internazionali d'Italia in Rome and, most importantly, Roland Garros in Paris. He is scheduled to return to training on April 13, according to schedule. Sinner, during the period of stop, should be able to maintain the first position in the ranking, gained in June 2024.
