The narrow loss against Roma cost Fabio Pecchia dearly. The third-last place in the standings, the four consecutive defeats and only 20 points collected in 25 days, led Parma to the decision to exonerate the Lazio coach a few months after renewing his contract.

According to reports from "Sky Sport", the ducal club would have already communicated the decision to the person concerned and would have already put itself in search of a valid replacement, called to reverse a decidedly negative trend, as evidenced by the only two points collected in the last seven games.

Fabio Pecchia had arrived in the Ducal city in 2022, then winning the B championship and thus conquering Serie A in 2024. In this first part of his return to the Italian top league, the coach ends his experience after 25 games of which 4 wins, 8 draws and as many as 13 defeats.
