At the Galaxy Experience Space come winter sports champions

Samsung’s Galaxy Experience Space in Piazza Duomo inside the Milano Cortina 2026 Sport Village, inaugurated one year before the start of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, welcomes some of the greatest Italian winter sports champions for an exclusive experience that combines sports and technology.

Among the expected athletes, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, Dominik Paris, a skier specializing in fast disciplines and winner of the Super-G World Cup in 2019 and numerous downhill races, will be present. On Sunday, Feb. 23, Marta Bassino, skier, Giant Slalom World Cup winner in 2021 and super-giant World Cup champion in 2023, and teammate, fast discipline specialist in Alpine skiing, Elena Curtoni, will visit the space.

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, however, three-time biathlon world champion Dorothea Wierer will be the guest speaker. On the same day, Loris Framarin and Ian Matteoli, freestyle snowboarders who are among the emerging talents on the international scene, will also be in Piazza Duomo. Finally, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, the Galaxy Experience Space will host siblings Miro and Flora Tabanelli, the first Italians to win the Gold Medal at the prestigious X-Games of winter sports in big air, a specialty of freestyle skiing in which Flora also just won the World Cup. 

Also part of the Galaxy Ambassador roster are snowboarder Nicola Liviero, who also specializes in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air, and the very young skier Giorgia Collomb, fresh from winning the gold medal in the team event at the very recent World Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. 

Italian sports champions will visit Samsung’s immersive space to discover and experience firsthand the potential of the new Galaxy S25 Ultra with Galaxy AI, designed to support athletes in analyzing performance, managing training and sharing experiences with their fans.
