NBA, regular season over for Victor Wembanyama
San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama will missà the rest of the NBA regular season due to venous thrombosis in his right shoulder. This was announced by the US franchise itself.
The health problem è was diagnosed "upon Wembanyama’s return to San Antonio after the'All Star Game in San Franscisco", where the 21-year-old player participated last weekend for the first time in his career, the Texas franchise specified in a statement.
He is scheduled to return to the court è in April, when the regular season is already over. And the Spurs are unlikely to qualify for the playoffs. The Frenchman could però play Euro-2025 with his national team from Aug. 27 to Sept. 14: the blues are engaged with Latvia, Cyprus, Finland and Poland.
