Andrey Rublev folds Jack Draper and triumphs in Doha

Five years after the last time, Andrey Rublev returned to triumph in Doha. On the Qatari cement, in fact, the Russian tennis player è won in three sets over Britain’s Jack Draper with a score of 7-5 5-7 6-1, after more than two hours of play.
The first half è characterized by great balance, as both players are impeccable on serve. In the twelfth game, however, comes the first lapse on the part of Draper, who has to face three set points. The Briton manages to nullify the first two, but in the third Rublev does not miss his answer, placing the break that also gives him the first partial with the score of 7-5.
In the second set, the two players, albeit with a few more errors, continued to be solid on their serves. It's the 11th game, this time, that makes the difference in favor of Draper, who takes advantage of his rival's blackout to place the decisive break and make the second partial his own on 7-5.
