Chivu’s new Parma makes derby with Bologna its own, Venezia stops Lazio

Parma-Bologna 2-0; Venice-Lazio 0-0
Cristian Chivu's adventure on the Parma bench began in the best possible way. The ducali, in fact, won 2-0 in the Emilian derby with Bologna thanks to goals by Bonny and Sohm. Instead, the other 3 p.m. match on Saturday of the 26th day of Serie A between Venezia and Lazio ended in a scoreless draw.
At the Stadio Ennio Tardini, it was the hosts who found the lead at 37': Bonny attempted a sombrero on Beukema, who deflected the ball with his hand, forcing the match director to award the penalty kick. From the spot, the same French center forward è deftly dispatching Ravaglia.
In the second half, è Bologna pushed in search of an equalizer, but after the round of substitutions è once again Parma found the net on the counterattack with Sohm, who was served in depth by Man, again slipping through the Felsine extreme defender putting the three points on ice.
At the Pierluigi Penzo, the first chance è for Lazio with Dia, who from a good position failed to find the goal defended by Radu. In the second half, Venezia also made an appearance with Oristanio, who after evading Romagnoli’s marking concluded towards the mirror finding an excellent response from Mandas. In the final minutes, both teams go close to the goal, but without finding it.
Thanks to this success, Parma makes an important leap in the standings, exiting the relegation zone with 23 points. Bologna, on the other hand, remains stuck at 41, failing the chance to overtake both Milan and Fiorentina. Finally, the draw for Lazio and Venezia is of little use, since the biancocelesti, in case of Juventus’ success with Cagliari, could be ousted from fourth place (the last position useful for qualification to the next Champions League), while the lagunari are still seven points away from the salvation zone.
