It's begun rehabilitation for Yann Sommer, who underwent surgery on the thumb of his right hand to reduce and synthesize the fracture of the head of the proximal phalanx of the thumb remedied in Thursday's training session.
The Swiss goalkeeper sent a social message to all Inter fans from the hospital: "Thank you for all your support and recovery wishes! I am fully focused on rehabilitation and can't wait to get back on the field. We all have our fingers crossed for tonight’s game. Forza Inter!".
Sommer will miss the matches against Genoa (league), Lazio (Coppa Italia), Napoli (league), first leg and return against Feyenoord (Champions League), Monza (league) and Atalanta (league).
Simone Inzaghi will have to rely in this period on Josep Martinez, who arrived in the summer from Genoa for 13 million euros plus two bonuses.
