Antonio Conte harsh: “Napoli did not return to the field in the recovery”

A defeat so painful that it requires the harshest analysis.

Napoli defeated in Como and now second in the Serie A standings at -1 from Inter, but what hurt most were the mistakes that led to the knockout. Issues on which Antonio Conte did not è want to hide after the match, highlighting his and the team&#39s responsibilities.

"After a first half that I liked, in the second half our good intentions remained in the locker room – stressed Conte to the microphones of 'DAZN' -. We wanted to give intensity to the match but we did not succeed, I è seemed to see another team on the field. We didn&#39t really get back into the game. Napoli è was submissive, and they made the wrong mental approach".

" We were submissive in everything, right from the handling of balls in the back. We need to grow mentally and we need time, but we didn&#39t do well and I regret that. I am the coach and I have to think about these aspects as well, but I also have the knowledge that I can only go so far", Conte then admitted.

There'è then Napoli’s Scudetto race, on which Conte wanted to speak clearly: "From the beginning we play with this pressure, which we have given ourselves thanks to our ranking but which was not expected at the beginning of the season. We have to face it in the best possible way, trying to understand why Como was more bad and hungry than us. But this setback hurts, especially the way it è arrived".
