Shot in the head, apprehension for Moise Kean: then relief

Moments of apprehension at the Bentegodi after an attempt to continue the game.
Moise Kean scares the Verona crowd, but fortunately his situation appears far from serious. The Fiorentina striker, on the field with his team to face Paolo Zanetti’s Gialloblù left the field at 67'due to the consequences of a blow to the face he received a few minutes earlier. His attempt to stay on the field è however, proved futile.
The purple center forward had sustained a cut to his eyebrow arch around the hour mark after an aerial clash. After losing a lot of blood, Kean è returned to the field a few minutes later with a conspicuous bandage without, however, being able to affect the game.
More than five minutes later, then, he silenced the Bentegodi by crouching on the ground in midfield with the ball away. Rushed by Fiorentina medical personnel, è it became clear almost immediately that there were no serious problems for him. Inevitable, però the substitution.
Kean gave way to Fagioli at 67', leaving the field on a stretcher with his neck immobilized by a collar. Applause for him from the whole stadium: from his Fiorentina fans and also from those of Verona, one of his former teams.
