Carlos Sainz takes the place of Sebastian Vettel

New assignment for Carlos Sainz, who after saying goodbye to Ferrari by starting again with the less competitive Williams has accepted the role of director of the GPDA (Grand Prix Drivers' Association).
The Spanish son of art will take the place of Sebastian Vettel who left last year the post he held for several years after retiring from racing at the end of 2022.
On the Board of Directors of the GPDA Sainz will be able to count on George Russell and a former Formula One driver, Austria's Alexander Wurz, who è also president of the historic association.
"I am passionate about my sport and I think we drivers have a responsibility to do everything we can to work with stakeholders to advance the sport in many areas. So I am very happy and proud to do my part by taking on the role of director in the GPDA", the first words of Carlos Sainz.
