Juventus, new stop for Douglas Luiz

Douglas Luiz stops again
Yet another injury in the Juventus household. After Nicolò Savona, Douglas Luiz also stops, in his fourth stop of the season. The Brazilian midfielder, who was forced to change after only 20 minutes since his entrance in the last match against Cagliari, underwent instrumental examinations that showed a low-grade injury to the femoral biceps of the left thigh.
This was communicated by the Juventus club itself through an official note: "Following the muscle discomfort suffered in the second half of the match against Cagliari, this morning Douglas Luiz è was subjected at the J|medical to diagnostic tests, which showed a low-grade injury of the femoral biceps of the left thigh".
No recovery time has been announced, but since it is an injury, Douglas Luiz is expected to be in the pits for about 15 to 20 days. The Bianconeri midfielder will definitely miss the Coppa Italia engagement with Empoli and the league challenges with Verona, Atalanta and Fiorentina, presumably returning after the break for the home match with Genoa.
Alarm returned, however, for Andrea Cambiaso: the Azzurri fullback has è trained in the group with his teammates and will already be available to coach Thiago Motta for the match valid for the Coppa Italia quarterfinals against Empoli, scheduled for Wednesday at Allianz Stadium at 9 p.m.
