Lewis Hamilton is enjoying his debut day in the pre-season tests at the wheel of the new Ferrari, in which, turning in the morning, he achieved the 12th fastest time overall. Here are the words of the British seven-time world champion.

"Testing is always interesting: for the first time you can see what the different teams have developed and you can start to get familiar with the single-seater and the year ahead. Being here with Scuderia Ferrari HP and getting into the SF-25 here è an incredible feeling".

"Our program is to try different things, collect as much data as possible and get familiar with the car, and today we have already learned a lot. È it is too early to really understand the absolute values, but everything seems to be going right, and as a team we are working on the best way to optimize each run down the track. There'è still a lot to do over the next few days to complete our program and understand the car to the best of our ability, and I'm looking forward to getting back on track".
