Jannik Sinner suspended: Marco Panichi looks on the bright side

Speaking on the "Sky Tennis Club" broadcast, Jannik Sinner&#39s athletic trainer Marco Panichi, among other topics discussed, spoke bluntly about the South Tyrolean player&#39s three-month disqualification over the Clostebol case. More specifically, the former member of Novak Djokovic's staff dwelt on the positive aspects that the long forced stop could bring to the world number one.

"The fact of having soì much time co will allowì for almost athletic programming. By having such aì long period, we can definitely go and touch a little bit more in depth of the characteristics or situations where we can improve" began the trainer of the South Tyrolean.

"We talk about small things, becauseé these athletes are Formula 1 machines alreadyà very evolved. The fact remains that, from a motivational point of view, è it is an important boost to know that we can devote this time to certain things and this also reflects on the mind. It's a new experience and I&#39m really grateful to be able to have this time, notwithstanding that we didn&#39t want such a situation,&#quot; added staff member Jannik Sinner.

"I first met Djokovic when he was thirteen and a half years old and was impressed by several of his characteristics. I used to call him "Mr. Perché" because when we asked him to do something, he would always ask why he had to do it. You saw, therefore, a different mentality. He è became very good and talented at playing tennis because of his constant attention to detail. All his hard work allowed him to grow in the way he hit the ball, to the point where it became one of his greatest strengths" concluded Marco Panichi.
