Luca Nardi had to postpone again his appointment with his first semifinal at the ATP level. In Dubai è came another defeat in the quarters.
The Blue's executioner was Frenchman Quentin Halys, who won in a comeback with a score of 2-6 6-3 7-6 after two hours and eight minutes of play.
The Pesaro-born player seemed to be one step away from victory when he è found himself ahead by a set and a break, before suffering a partial break of four consecutive games that completely overturned the inertia of the match.
It was not enough for Nardi to save eight of the ten break balls he conceded: adding to the Pesaro player’s regrets was the fact that he won more points, 94 against 88.
