Marco Ceron arrives in Pistoia

Estra Pistoia, on Friday, announced that it has reached an agreement to sign Marco Ceron, a class of 1992 basketball player, guard or wing, who grew up in the youth of the then Benetton Treviso and has been with numerous clubs in both the top division and A2. Ceron's last experience in A was in 2021-22, with Virtus Bologna.

"A.S. Estra Pistoia Basket 2000 announces that it has reached an agreement, until the end of the current 2024/25 season, with guard/winger Marco Ceron" confirms the Tuscan club. The 32-year-old will be available to the club immediately and will therefore be able to take the court against Napoli in the game scheduled for Sunday, March 2.

The newcomer will haveà as objective to give his contribution in the race for salvation of Estra Pistoia, which after nineteen league games occupies the last place in solitary with 8 points, the result of four wins and fifteen defeats. The salvation zone is, however, only two lengths away and the games are certainly open.

Marco Ceron made his debut among seniors in the 2009-2010 season, wearing the Reyer Venezia jersey: afterwards he played for Recanati, Napoli Basketball, Lago Maggiore, Azzurro Napoli, Reyer Venezia again, Pesaro, Brescia, Verona, Mantova, Virtus Bologna, Nardò and Chiusi, before a parenthesis in Vigevano that preceded the period as a free agent and the subsequent signing by Pistoia.
