Christian Chivu already goes flat

The success against Bologna last Feb. 22 already seems to be a distant memory for Christian Chivu, who in the next three games with his Parma side picked up a defeat in Udine (1-0) and two draws, against Torino (2-2) and at home to Monza (1-1). The ducal coach stressed his disappointment after this latest result, trying to explain the problems of the team he has been coaching for just under a month.

"I am not satisfied with taking a point, we had to do more,‖ said Chivu to the microphones of 'Dazn' -I would like to see a team capable of proposing play, not chasing the result. What are we missing? So many things: the will to win one-on-one, the nastiness on the field. In training there's a different agonism, then in the game we are too light".

Not everything, però, è to be thrown away: "Bonny’s goal came from the desire to recover the ball and score. It is not è the overall performance that disappoints me, but the fact that some of these guys do not understand how strong they are, how much quality they have and how much they deserve to be in Serie A. We need the right agonism during matches".

Christian Chivu accepted the post of Parma coach in the aftermath of the ducali's defeat against Roma, after which the Gialloblù management gave Fabio Pecchia, the coach of the promotion to the top flight, the sack. In 29 games the team has collected 25 points, with 35 goals scored but also 49 goals conceded.
