Trieste basketball explains the'announced farewell of Jamion Christian

Jamion Christian will return to the United States at the end of this season at the helm of Trieste Basketball. The decision was announced by the club itself, which noted the 43-year-old coach’s desire to return to his home country and, specifically, resume coaching in the NCAA, accepting the offer from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

“Jamion&#8220s decision to reunite with his family in the United States and pursue his coaching career in the NCAA starting next season has been the subject of open discussions and receives our unconditional support” explained Michael Arcieri, general manager of the red and white, to official company channels.

“The opportunity for him to do what he loves with his family by his side is a true gift– added Arcieri. “Jamion’s unwavering commitment to Trieste Basketball for this special 2024-25 season is stronger than ever as we approach the most important and exciting months of our season”.

“Family is the fabric that binds us, completes us – added Paul Matiasic, patron of Trieste Basketball -. Therefore, we are fully supportive and very happy for the Christian family that the next step in Jamion’s coaching journey will bring him back home to the United States.
