Alessandro Bastoni sheds light on his possible farewell to'Inter

Alessandro Bastoni was the star of Alessandro Cattelan’s latest podcast episode: “What do I cling to in order to always keep the bar high? It is a personal thing, it depends so much on the path one has had. Throughout my career I have met the right people at the right time. In front of everything I put the sacrifices I have made”.
“For people in general, sacrifices are made only by laborers or bricklayers. If you are not inside this world you have a hard time understanding the sacrifices a player makes. We play so much that we are always away from families. The talk always comes down to ‘eh but you make millions’ however, for me that is so wrong: time is a priceless thing and no one gives it back to you”.
Bastoni was also close to the’farewell to Inter: “I waged wars to leave, considering that I had Godin, Skriniar, De Vrij in front of me. Conte asked me to stay and once I played, I never left”.
“Do we still do retreats? At least one a week, the Saturday before the game, then on Sunday we play, the same when we play on Wednesday. I sleep at home two-three nights a week. Then the days I sleep at home are away until 2 p.m. because of practice, so the time at home is really restricted”.
