Atp Marrakech: derby between Lorenzo Sonego and Luciano Darderi fades away

No derby with Luciano Darderi for Lorenzo Sonego in Marrakech. In fact, the Piedmontese tennis player was eliminated in the round of 16 by Czech Vit Kopriva with a score of 6-2 5-7 6-4, after two hours and thirty-four minutes of play.
The start is horror for Sonego, who loses the first four games. On the strength of the large lead, it is only a formality for Kopriva to close the score at 6-2.
Also in the second set, there’s only the Czech player on the court, who flies away in the score at 5-1. With his back against the wall, however, the Azure rose to prominence and first regained the two break disadvantage, then won the second set 7-5 after also annulling six match points.
The Czech player also won the second set 7-5.
In the third and decisive set it is the Italian who continues the positive momentum by finding the break in the second game. At that point, however, comes the reaction of Kopriva who places four consecutive games. The Piedmontese, for his part, tries again to make a comeback, but this time the Czech is perfect on serve and closes the accounts on 6-4.
