Lewis Hamilton mantiere the straight bar after the double disqualification in China: “I saw that someone sent me something asking whether or not I am losing confidence in the team, but that is garbage, I have absolute 100 percent confidence in this team”.

“I think at the beginning of the year there was a huge hype and I don&#8217t know if anyone expected that we would win from the first race and win a championship in our first year. That was not what I expected. I know that I am coming into a new culture, a new team, and that it will take time. In the last two months I have been watching how the team works compared to the other two I have been on. In this last week I have been able to take notes and create pointers on areas that I think can be improved, and this will continue throughout the year as we get to know each other better”.

“I didn&#8220t feel any frustration or anything. It went like this,” Hamilton told reporters in Suzuka, “obviously we analyzed everything. I was in the factory on Wednesday and [there are] many lessons learned, we live the highs and lows together, as a team. Obviously that’s not why everyone worked so hard. No team, no engineer, no mechanic works hard to then have a situation like this. I would say the most impressive thing is the way the team took it, the way they worked, the way they analyzed the data. The way we progress from here is the most important thing”.
