Virtus Bologna, Dusko Ivanovic seeks continuity in Euroderby with Milan
After wide victories with Alba Berlin and Reggio Emilia, Virtus Bologna is awaiting the’Euroderby against Ettore Messina’s Olimpia Milano. Ahead of the challenge against the meneghini, the head coach of the Felsini Dusko Ivanovic framed his team’s goal.
“We have faced Milan so many times during this season, but every game is important, and tomorrow’s must count as if it were a final. We will have to take the court with the same aggressiveness shown in the last two games” these are the words of Dusko Ivanovic to the official channels of the Black Vu.
The head coach’s statements were echoed, again to the club’s official channels, by the words of Nicola Akele: “Right now every game is important in order to get to the season finale with high morale, both in these last Euroleague games and to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for the Serie A playoffs. We want to continue to grow as a team and regain that chemistry that we are having in recent weeks”.
While Virtus Bologna is already cut off, Olimpia Milano is in the midst of a race for a playoff spot, so it will be almost mandatory for Ettore Messina’s team to come out of the Segafredo Arena with a win, so as to keep their post-season hopes alive.
